Breaking the Bias

Imagine a world free of stereotypes and discrimination.
A world that is diverse, equitable and inclusive.

Imagine a world where you’re not the only female on your engineering course.
A world where it’s not presumed you’re the office assistant.

Imagine a world where it’s normal to be a female and the breadwinner.
A world where women run half our countries and men run half our homes.

Imagine a world where there’s no glass ceilings for women in the workplace.
A world where representation doesn’t just matter, but exists.

Imagine a world where women’s sport is televised just as much as men’s.
A world where you’re not badged a ‘Tomboy’ because of your love for the game.

Imagine a world where you’re not described as bossy, emotional or sensitive.
A world where kindness is seen as a strength not weakness.

Imagine a world where you’re paid the same as your male counterparts.
A world where building a career doesn’t come at the cost of building a family.

Imagine a world where being a mum doesn’t mean you’re the one leaving early to do the nursery run.
A world where you’re not judged at the school gates for loving your career.

Imagine a world where your body is not objectified.
A world where it’s safe to walk home alone at night.

Imagine it’s a world where difference is not just celebrated, but valued.
For a moment, just imagine that.

We’ve come such a long way, there’s still such a journey ahead of us. To all those working tirelessly to help #BreakTheBias …
Happy International Women’s Day 2022
